Louise Hay & Living Life Passionately
Quote for the Week
” ….we get lost in our attachment to the result, instead of just being and having the notion, the desire. ”

Deb’s Living Life Passionately
After running Living Life Passionately for over 13 years now I am often asked how I live Life Passionately. I am grateful each moment that I am in a position to make conscious choices that are positive and in support of my values and visions.
From supporting local business, to being present and kind with the people who make my coffee or serve me at the supermarket. For me that is much a part of Living Life Passionately as the love I have for travelling to the bush, listening to jazz, supporting the RFDS, being conscious of loving & being present with my family and friends in way that brings them benefit or having made a career from doing what I love each day. I am practicing all of this daily. Sometimes I get it right. Each time I expect to do it better. And every moment I am very grateful.
Having spent 15 years in Corporate building businesses for others, stressed and sick from the office politics, the long hours and the lack of support, tools and training I was still determined to make the most of each role.
I was clear that the way I thought about this life determined the results. Around my 8am- 6pm work, each night and on weekends I attended classes, did courses and eventually professional training to find skills to make the day job easier and productive.
I created the habit of positive and solution oriented thinking and consistently offered training and support to my teams, including head holding and breathing, meditation classes and planning/ strategy sessions for their next step in life toward what they really wanted. As well as the team receiving the benefits, it gave me fulfillment. So any step forward needed to do the same.
I am so conscious and GRATEFUL to be of co-creating and living the Life I am living. Doing the ‘work’ I LOVE, surrounded by people I love being around, creating healthy loving relationships and adventures. I am VERY grateful.
I LOVE continually learning and LOVE sharing the benefits of the learning with you, including the Neuro-training Professional Development and quality resources like Dr Joe Dispenza’s trainings this time last year.
So when the opportunity arise to attend Louise Hay’s 90th Birthday Celebrations in San Diego with a line up of presenters like Cheryl Richardson, Suze Orman, Dr Christiane Northrup, and Robert Holden, some of whom I have been following for 30+ years…AND I could see, feel, hear and sense myself there – I booked. Then regretted it. Then became very aware that something much bigger was at play here, and I needed to be at this event. And so I was.
I can clearly remember the moment in my 20’s when I opened Louise Hay’s book You Can Heal Your Life. I recall where I was, what was happening in sharp, sensory detail around me and I can remember reading the first chapter, taking a long, deep breath and realising I had truly disappeared into a still, nourishing and purposeful new world in the middle of the smells and clanging of a busy city space.
My life changed forever from that moment and set me on the path to where I am in life now. Very happy. Fulfilled. Far from where I was then.
The San Diego and USA experience took that learning to a whole new level which I am happy to share in the Breathe newsletter next week.
In the meantime enJOy the stories below from people just like you and me , living their life passionately.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Be kind. And True to You,
Deb
