You call That Spring Cleaning?? This is Spring Cleaning!

Wow! What a month!

It’s been great to see so many old clients ( and the new clients they’ve referred – thankyou!) coming into to see the new clinic, sorting out their relationships and changing their perception and releasing their stress around work.

Sunday afternoon at the Movies got off to a flying start with lots of good learnings and relaxed discussion with likeminded people ( and a new technique or two!) at You Can Heal Your Life and The Immortal Brain. Keep an eye out for the next movie Sunday November 23, 2008, The 7 Spiritual Laws for Success with Dr Deepak Chopra.

Meditation classes on Mondays are showing new and practiced meditation students that a little kinesiology goes a long way to making meditation easier and more effective ( as my Corporate clients know). They’re getting  calmer, more focused and relaxed by the minute! The next series begins on Monday November 10…look for details in the next What’s On In Coogee clinic event guide.

Practice nights for students of kinesiology have proven popular and fun with all levels of students developing their practitioner skills. It’s great to be a part of their new levels of skill and awareness with such wonderful tools – and there is always room if you want to attend (if you have studied BUK.)

A Spirited Life students completed their course a week ago, claiming they too had lots of fun, learnt new tools, techniques and understandings about their spiritual nature and the energetic side of life.

EXCITEMENT THIS SUNDAY!! Living Life Passionately Intensive begins. I love, in fact I’m PASSIONATE about teaching this course because of the results I’ve seen in the lives of attendees as they learn to rebalance their lives and follow their purpose. Spaces are available. Call or email me now to join the group.

In balance to all this activity, I’m loving spending time enjoying Coogee, noticing the season changes and watching the water –  all part of my passion.

If you have any questions, requests for future articles or would like to share I’d love to hear from you. Email or call me on 0408 600 410

You call That Spring Cleaning?? This is Spring Cleaning!

In churches, temples and cathedrals all over the world you’ll find the use of incense and vibrating music. Why? They are cleansing the holy space of people’s worries, pleas and cries for help – the stress they dump and leave behind.

In fact the easiest way to “lose” the stress is by walking through a holy space or spending time in a church. It’s set up to cleanse, protect and bless. Anytime I am in the city and presenting to corporate I ensure I allow time to walk through the closest church/ cathedral – I instantly feel unburdened of others stress and lighter in perception.

You can apply the same principles at home. During Winter we tend to spend more time inside meaning we don’t do our “downloading” walking in nature. Have you found that you tend to have arguments or get angry or sad in the same place in the house and laughter in another? Every emotional response releases emotional energy. Just like the mud on our boots it builds up and often it feels like you are literally moving through mud.

So here’s an easy and effective way to clean out your living space and fill it with lots of fun, light and laughter. In massive download areas I do it once a week, otherwise do it once a month to keep you moving forward easily:

  1. Play some bass (“base”) music – lots of heavy beats like Beethoven or ACDC while burning sage or incense – my preference is Frankincense, Myrrh and Sandalwood- while the windows and doors are closed.

  1. When the smoke has finished, open the windows and doors, change the music to something “lighter” like Mozart, Debussy or Enya (if you have to ;-). Incidentally, the soundtrack to Phantom of the Opera and most arias ( from Opera, not the awards night) have a balance of “base” and “light” music.

  1. Light a candle in each room you’ve smoked while saying “Bring love, light, healing energy and protection  to this space”. You can add to this any “job description” for the room you like, eg. laughter and good digestion in the dining room; love, fun and lust in the bedroom, and the kitchen and the loungeroom ….

Notice the difference in energy of your rooms and how much more gets done. Now you have the energy and time to declutter, re-arrange and enjoy the Spring!

A Special Website Launch

Client Tracey Cook was once an unhappy and single recruiter and is now an incredibly happy and hitched Entrepreneur. She sent through the following email recently:

Hi there Deb, I’ve just launched my website so I thought I’d sent it through considering you were instrumental in getting me to follow my dreams.  My business name is The G Link (G for gifts and gatherings) and the website is www.theglink.com

It looks sensational! Bravo Tracy! Now Living the Life she is Meant to!

How Committed are You?

Sometimes clients call after an appointment to ask if a response they are experiencing is as a result of their consultation. Amongst an array of other results they may be noticing a change in their energy levels, feeling emotional or sleeping a lot. Many clients are amused that my first response is always the same “ Have you been rolling the water around your mouth? Headholding and belly breathing? Have you done your “homework”?”

After a kinesiology consultation the brain requires time to process the mental, emotional and physical releases and to reorganize itself to create the positive effects you are looking for. The water swishing, headholding and belly breathing support your body and brain to do this.

Sometimes your brain will also request additional support that is especially for you, such as spending “x amount of time, x days/ week” in nature, or listening to “ your” music and adding or deleting particular habits from your routine that are no longer in support of you. The following comment was sent to me by a client, G.M., in Sydney,

A funny thing happened to me after my last session, and not funny Ha Ha. We worked on increasing energy/stimulation and all went well. Deb advised me to take a bath in salt water when I got home as a continuation of the process. As I had plans that night I didn’t have time to have a bath and headed out. Only 3 hours after the session I began to feel very strange, kind of detached and emotionless. I tried to enjoy the night but couldn’t get into it.

The following day I called Deb and told her of the effect. She asked whether I had taken the bath and advised me to do so. While this news made sense it didn’t change the feeling. When I got home I filled the bath with sea salt and lay there for a half hour or so. Almost immediately I felt myself returning to my usual frame of mind. Lesson learned; clear my calendar after a session and always do my homework!

In fact although I was relaying the message from the kinesiology I was doing, it was G.M.’s brain that was saying “for an efficient and easy processing of this work a salt water bath would be helpful.” And G.M. found his brain was correct when he finally had the bath as suggested.

Another client, Kate, describes she also learnt a similar lesson:

At the end of last year, I felt that I had hit a brick wall and couldn’t navigate around it.  I was frustrated and angry and upset. After a session with Deb, she suggested I take some drops. I had not used drops before and remember thinking how ridiculous and … I knew it couldn’t possibly have an effect.

Within a few days, it felt like stepping out of the shade.  What previously had seemed so complicated, became effortless.  What had seemed out of reach was within my grasp.  It is hard to put into words, the only way I could describe it is that it allowed me time to take a breath, rest and to let life be around me.  To let it flow.

As a practitioner, when a client doesn’t follow through with their “homework” I note that the client maybe inclined to do Life with difficulty, not value themselves enough to support themselves with self-care and may lack commitment to their growth. This provides additional information to assist them to change the pattern when they are ready.

Over the years I have seen the clients who are most committed to creating the Life they are Meant to and creating positive change in their life are those who listen and ACT upon the “homework”.
